Application criteria
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to applicants (individuals and organizations) who demonstrate a clear use case for the solution and financial difficulty in otherwise paying for the solution.
Our key questions to answer are: How will your proposed usage address a neighborhood or societal issue? Is there a clear plan in using the solution?
Who is this program for?
We engage anyone with a good cause — from citizen scientists to small neighborhood organizations and nonprofits, to anyone who has a good idea. It’s the intention that counts.
Tailored support
We understand that users will be at different levels of technical proficiency. While we can promise to help users familiarize themselves with an initial screensharing session, assistance beyond this is based on our team's availability.
Limits on the number of licenses granted per year?
Yes, each year we have a limited number of licenses and/or usage limits that each participating company/solution sets. However, we encourage usage of the toolkit solutions on a project basis, meaning that at any given point in time, licenses may be available regardless of if it is the beginning or end of the year.
Are applications on a rolling basis?
